Cayman Islands

Cayman IslandsThe Cayman Archipelago is making up of 3 islands: Big Cayman, the biggest one, and the small and quite “sister islands “, as they call to Little Cayman and Cayman Brac, located less than 90 miles from Gran Cayman. The sea life of these waters is a good summary of the Caribbean biodiversity: several species of sea fans, many sponges and well conserved corals. We can found there a wide variety of fish, from small butterfly fish to big groupers and also angelfish, triggerfish, trunkfish, barracudas, jacks or snappers. The hawksbill turtles are abundant and you can see them in near every dive, including the night dives, which are also the best moment to find shrimps, crabs and the colourful Caribbean spiny Lobsters. The reefs are healthy and the water visibility very good, with luminous sea bottoms, usually not deeper than 30m. In Gran Cayman we can enjoy the famous “Stingray City”, a true tourist attraction where divers and snorkelers can stroke and feed dozens of stingrays at a deep of 2 meters.

La Herradura, tropical waters in Granada The coastline around the town of La Herradura, in the Granada's municipality of Almuñecar, has a reputation among divers because of the enormous variety of small invertebrates that inhabit its waters. In a few places, including famous tropical seas, you can see the diversity of nudibranchs that you can find here, concentrated in a few miles of coastline. They are not the only animals to see: flatworms, corals, sea fans, crustaceans and fish also provide the full range of colors to this subtropical looks like area of the Spanish Mediterranean

The Baltic Sea Surrounded by nine countries, the Baltic is a brackish inland sea covering an area of 432,800 km2 and has only one exit to the North Sea through the Kattegat Strait. With serious problems of pollution and overexploitation (favored by low depth of only 57m on average and up to 459m), its peculiar characteristics and especially the low salinity, make it a unique ecosystem that changes rapidly with latitude. A cold sea surrounded by beautiful cities and a little-known underwater world

Balearic Islands The Balearic archipielago is one of the most visited Spain's tourist destinations. Four Islands with a differentiated nature, cosmopolitan in Mallorca, elegant and traditional Menorca, quiet in Formentera and with Ibiza as the European Capital of summer's party. Beyond this fame, the Balearic Islands also have a rich and diverse underwater world, with extensive seagrass beds, steep cliffs and hidden bays with crystal clear waters. Are renowned among divers the broad caves of Menorca and Mallorca, many of them still unexplored, some wrecks and the marine life present in the preserved areas of the smaller islands and in the numerous protected areas of the archipelago

Mauritius, tourism and divingLocated in the Indian Ocean, near the large Madagascar, the green and small Mauritius (67 km wide and just over 1860 km2) is a very popular holiday destination, especially in France, thanks to its numerous white-sand beaches protected by coral reefs. Not so well known is its underwater world: despite the low abundance of building corals in its warm and calm waters, there is an abundant fauna of tropical fish and invertebrates and also some wrecks popular among divers. Mauritius is a good place to combine relax on beaches and good quality hotels with a pleasant and enjoyable diving
