Palau Palau (Belau in the local language) seems endless with its 200 islands and 700 islets of fanciful shapes that seem to grow over the sea like a blanket of green mushrooms. Its reefs are in excellent condition due to the conservation effort of the Palauan, which outlawed shark fishing and created the Conservation Area “Of the 70 islands” in the 50's, the first reserve in Micronesia. Its waters brings together a variety of marine environments for diving difficult to find anywhere else: sharks, underwater caves, war wrecks of all sizes, walls plenty of coral and big schools of fish, not forgetting the Jellyfish Lake, the diving with wild nautilus or the giant clams in Giant Clam City
